Join us for a sparkling Bonfire Night celebration on Wednesday, 5th November! The bonfire on the green will be lit at 7pm, followed by a spectacular fireworks display starting at 7.30pm.

Our restaurant will be open all evening, serving delicious food and drinks for you to enjoy in the warmth and comfort indoors. Outside, you can keep cosy with mulled wine and a selection of light refreshments from our food truck and garden bar.

Come and join us with your family and friends and get yourselves in the festive spirit with a welcome glass of prosecco. Our fully trained florists will provide you with an evening of festive fun, guiding you through every step to make your very own luxury bespoke Christmas wreath to take home and grace your door.

You will start with a traditional moss-based wreath and have a selection of Fresh Seasonal foliage’s to create your own unique wreath. We have a wide selection of Dried fruits, Cinnamon sticks, pinecones, baubles, ribbons and much more! This event is run by Christmas Creations and held at The Chequers Matching Green.

New Year’s Eve

Our popular Black Tie New Year’s Eve dinner is back and this year with TBC and is always a great way to usher in the new year. Always a great atmosphere and excellent food. Enjoy a glass of Prosecco on arrival, followed by a three course dinner before moving onto a selection of great party music, perfect for dancing the night away. It will definitely be a night to remember!
